A Day In The Life
This is the fourth Xenaverse based cryptic crossword I have managed to complete. My first, second and third efforts pretty much exhausted what I could do in the way of cryptic crosswords based on the Xenaverse in general - it was getting too hard to think of answers that everyone would be familiar with as general Xenaverse terms without getting too obscure. So this puzzle is a departure for me, in that it is all based around a particular ep - the fan favourite A Day In The Life. Every clue and answer in this puzzle derives from A Day In The Life (well OK, I cheated on 38-Across - but that's "the exception that proves the rule" {I never did understand what that was supposed to mean!}). I think this is probably the easiest of the puzzles I have set - so long as you know A Day In The Life really well! (And who doesn't?)
I was started on this whole Xena crossword thing thanks to Jennifer's efforts with her Vanishing Act puzzle, and she now has puzzles based on Tsunami, Sacrifice 1, Sacrifice 2, and The Quill Is Mightier up as well, and maybe others by the time you read this. Check them out at her Xena page.
